HushHub Control Pool & Spa System

The HushHub Control Pool & Spa System is the larger configuration of the HushHub Control, built for pool and spa combinations. It includes everything in the Pool System plus the Chilli Expand, Chilli Blast spa boost pump, spa jet blower, and two automatic actuator valves, giving the Chilli Controller the output capacity to manage your spa equipment alongside the pool.

Switching between pool and spa heating is handled automatically through the app. Select your mode, and the diverter valves adjust accordingly. No manual switching, no separate controls. The spa blower, boost pump, and jets all run through the same system, the same app, the same interface.

The acoustic enclosure is wider to accommodate the additional equipment, but the same acoustic steel construction applies - designed to reduce pool equipment noise by up to 50% and keeping the system compliant with Australian council noise regulations. An independent acoustic test is in progress - results will be published when available.

As with the Pool System, the Chilli heat pump mounts directly on top of the unit and the whole system is demountable by two people in around an hour.

How does the system know to heat the pool versus the spa?

You select pool or spa heating in the Chilli app. The Chilli Controller signals the automatic actuator valves to redirect the flow accordingly. The whole switch happens in the background - no manual valve turning, no separate controls.

Can the pool and spa be heated simultaneously?

The system heats one circuit at a time - either the pool or the spa. Most owners heat the pool on a schedule and switch to the spa on demand. Your installer can advise on the optimal setup for your usage pattern.

Why does the pool and spa system have two filters instead of one?

The larger water volume and additional equipment load of a pool and spa combination requires greater filtration capacity. Two Chilli Micron 200 sq ft cartridge filters ensure adequate flow and performance across the full system.

How much space does the Pool & Spa HushHub Control take up?

The steel frame is 2,880mm wide x 600mm deep x 1,000mm tall. Allow additional clearance for access and airflow. Your installer will advise on slab dimensions for your specific site.

Is the pool and spa system available in all three water system options?

Yes - available with MineralWater, FreshWater, and AutoCare. The water system is selected as a variant, with pool and spa equipment identical across all three.
