What's the difference between the FreshWater system and AutoCare?

The key difference is what gets automated. FreshWater still requires you to periodically check and adjust settings during heatwaves, heavy use, or seasonal changes. AutoCare monitors pH and ORP continuously and responds automatically. You set the target once. It handles everything else.

Will I ever need to add chemicals manually with AutoCare?

Acid dosing and chlorine output are both managed automatically. You may still need to occasionally check stabiliser and calcium hardness levels . Day-to-day chemistry management is fully automated.

What is ORP and why does it matter?

ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) is a direct measurement of your water's actual sanitising power. Unlike measuring chlorine concentration alone, ORP accounts for pH effects on chlorine effectiveness, giving a truer picture of real protection levels.
