Chilli Expand

The Chilli Controller handles the core pool equipment as standard. When your build goes further with a spa, a swim jet system, an in-floor cleaning system, or additional heating, the Chilli Expand gives the Controller the additional outlets it needs to manage everything through the one app.

For pool and spa combinations, the Chilli Expand is a required component. For standard pool-only builds, it becomes relevant the moment you add any system beyond the core equipment - making it the natural next step as your pool evolves.

Do I need the Chilli Expand if I have a pool and spa?

Yes the Chilli Expand is required for all pool and spa combinations. The Chilli Controller alone doesn't have sufficient output capacity for the additional spa equipment. The Expand provides the extra control channels needed for the spa boost pump, blower, and valve switching.

What equipment does the Chilli Expand control?

The spa boost pump (Chilli Blast), spa jet blower, additional filtration or heating systems, swim jet systems, and in-floor cleaning systems. Anything beyond the core pool equipment circuit runs through the Expand.

Can the Chilli Expand be added later if I start with a pool-only system?

Yes. If you add a spa, swim jet system, or in-floor cleaning system later, the Chilli Expand can be retrofitted to your existing HushHub Control. Contact Chilli to arrange an assessment.
