What happens if I don't have a check valve installed?

Without a check valve, water can flow back through your pumps when the system is off. This causes air locks, loss of prime, and accelerated wear on pump seals and impellers. In a pool and spa setup it can also cause the spa water level to drop unexpectedly.

Is this valve already included in my Chilli system?

Check valves are installed as part of the HushHub Control plumbing configuration. If you're purchasing as a replacement or for a custom installation, your pool technician will advise on the correct placement.

Will this valve fit my existing pool plumbing?

The Chilli Check Valve is 50mm, which is the standard pipe diameter used throughout the Chilli HushHub Control system. If your existing pool uses different pipe sizing, check with your installer before ordering.
